Today
Failed IUI #2 this morning. Trying to remember this is a long road and one number doesn't define it. Anyone else in between cycles right now?
The kicks finally feel real this week. Solo at the anatomy scan and I just cried in the parking lot — happy ones.
Met with a fertility clinic yesterday. Walked in nervous, walked out lighter.
Moonlight
Only open at night. Only for the thoughts that need somewhere to land.

Why we named it ama.
It's one of the first sounds a child ever makes — ama, mama, amma — a sound older than any language that holds it.
The first word most of us ever spoke — and the one we never stop needing.
Because motherhood doesn't begin when a child arrives.
It begins in the longing, the waiting, the courage, the choosing, the holding, the becoming.
And ama. was built to hold it all.
Built from lived experience

ama. began long before it was an app. It began in the quiet in-between: the wondering, the researching, the waiting, and the courage it takes to choose this path. And in the moments I wished I had women I could share my questions, hopes, and fears with — women who truly understood.
Because some parts of this path can feel impossible to explain — unless someone has lived them too.
Because choosing solo motherhood is one of the bravest, most intentional decisions a woman can make. It asks for trust — in yourself, in your path, and in what's still unfolding.
And from my own experience, I can say this: the most courageous decisions often lead us to the most beautiful gifts.
It did for me — because on the other side of that courage was my daughter, and a life more beautiful than I ever knew was waiting for me.
ama. is the space I once longed for — now here, for every woman walking this path.
