Ama is a community for women on the solo motherhood by choice path — whether you are:

• considering it
• trying to conceive
• pregnant
• parenting

You must be 18 or older to use Ama.

By creating an account, you confirm this.

One account per person.

You are responsible for everything posted under your account.

Keep your password private. Do not let anyone else use your account.

If your account impersonates another person, uses false identity details, or misrepresents who you are, we may remove it.

You agree not to use Ama to:

• harass, bully, threaten, or shame other members
• post sexual content, nudity, or unwanted advances
• sell, advertise, recruit, or promote MLMs or outside services
• present medical, legal, or financial advice as professional advice when you are not qualified
• share personal information about another member or their child without consent
• share screenshots, DMs, or Moonlight content outside the app
• use Ama for dating, hookups, or unrelated networking
• create fake accounts or attempt to bypass moderation

Please also follow our Community Guidelines.

We review reports as quickly as possible.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who break these rules.

Serious violations — including threats, harassment, doxxing, exploitation, or repeated abuse — may result in immediate removal.

If you disagree with a moderation decision, you can contact us.

There is a real human reading.

You own what you post.

By posting on Ama, you give us permission to display your content inside the app for the purpose of operating the community.

We do not train AI on your content.

If you delete content, it will be removed from active use inside the app.

Some records may remain in backup, moderation logs, or legal records for a limited time.

Moonlight is a temporary, late-hours space inside Ama.

Content shared in Moonlight is designed to be temporary and visible only during Moonlight hours.

Limited records may be retained where needed for moderation, safety, or legal reasons.

Please treat Moonlight with extra care.

The blue check means the Ama team has reviewed a selfie to confirm there is a real woman behind the account.

Verification is a safety feature — not a guarantee of trust, character, or behavior.

Verification may unlock:

• clear profile photos in DMs
• meetup hosting
• additional trust features

Verification photos are used only for review and handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Ama is a community, not a clinic.

It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or mental-health care.

If you or your child are in danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

While we work hard to keep Ama safe, we cannot guarantee the conduct of every member.

Please use your judgment when communicating or meeting in person.

Ama currently offers core community features at no cost.

We may introduce optional paid features or subscriptions in the future.

Any paid features will be clearly explained before purchase.

You may delete your account at any time from:

Settings (top right) → Delete account

Deleting your account removes your profile and content from active use in the app.

Some records may be retained where required for safety, moderation, or legal reasons.

Deletion cannot be undone.

Ama is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make important changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.

Ama is operated from Zug, Switzerland.

These Terms and any dispute related to your use of Ama are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights under the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Before formal legal action, both sides agree to first try to resolve disputes in good faith.

Usually, a short email solves most things.
